Kuzey Sotho (Sesotho sa Leboa), Sepedi (veya Pedi), standartlaştırılmış versiyonunun adıyla da bilinir ve Güney Afrika'da 11 resmi dilden birinde konuşulan Bantu dilidir. Güney Afrika'da 2011 nüfus sayımına göre, Limpopo,da Gauteng ve Mpumalanga eyaletlerinde 4.618.576 kişinin ilk dili olmuştur.
Pretoria Sotho (aslında Tswana'nın bir türevi) gibi Kuzey Sotho'nun kentsel çeşitleri, Nguni dillerinden yayılmış bu tür seslerin devam eden bir süreçte tıklamalarını kazanmıştır.
